Social Media Planning & Management
The new landscape of social media can be a confusing place. You need a partner that can help you make sense of it.
Social media is an avenue that can create a sense of community for current and prospective customers, increase awareness of your company and facilitate warm referrals. Social media includes sites like Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and others.
What's Your Goal?
Every project must have a goal in mind. With social media, the first step is identify your goal. Typically, it will fall into one of the following categories:
- Grow your social media following (It’s no good if no-one is listening)
- Manage your content (for those with no time or no desire)
- Drive business (referrals, purchases, repeat business, etc.)
Once we know your situation and goals, we do as little or as much as you need. Everything from strategies, to copywriting, to total execution.
Which Social Network Should I Use?
Many clients do not know which channels they want or need to use. Every network has its own unique features, benefits and audience. Determining which one will work for you is an important step, and we're happy to help!
Facebook:
Facebook is a great medium for:
- Creating a community
- Encouraging repeat business
- Driving referrals
- Creating low-level PR
Twitter:
Twitter is a great platform with dedicated followers. The typical Twitter user is different from your average Facebook user. Twitter is used for more constant involvement and must be managed more often with frequency rather than depth being a key issue.
LinkedIn:
LinkedIn fosters a very different audience from most other social media with the focus being on business and professionalism. This is a terrific social media for most industries.
YouTube:
As almost everyone knows, YouTube is for video content. A major consideration for whether this fits your company’s needs is if you have or can get a hold of relevant video content. Do the costs outweigh the benefits? YouTube may be an amazing tool for some, but less effective for others.
